HOUSTON, TX – June 15, 1982

Nolan Ryan added another chapter to his legendary career last night, tossing his 6th no-hitter as the Houston Astros shut out the Montreal Expos 3-0.

Ryan, 35, struck out 12 and walked just two in a dominating 130-pitch performance.

“I felt like I had my best stuff tonight,” Ryan said. “The defense behind me was tremendous.”

This no-hitter marks Ryan’s 3rd since joining the Astros in 1980.
