LOS ANGELES, CA – November 20, 2024

In a shocking move, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced that former guitarist John Frusciante is rejoining the band for a new album and world tour.

Frusciante, who previously played with the band from 1988-1992 and 1998-2009, will replace current guitarist, Josh Klinghoffer.

“We’re beyond thrilled to have John back,” said lead vocalist Anthony Kiedis. “His unique sound and energy will ignite our next chapter.”
