JUST IN:CHARLES SEXTON TAKES THRILLING 450SX WIN IN ATLANTA…

Atlanta, GA – February 25, 2023

Chase Sexton edged out Eli Tomac by a mere 0.2 seconds to take the 450SX main event win at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

_Sexton’s Dramatic Pass_

Sexton, riding his Honda CRF450R, made a daring pass on Tomac in the final lap, slipping past him in the whoops section to take the lead.

“I knew I had to make a move if I wanted to win,” Sexton said in the post-race interview. “I saw an opportunity in the whoops and took it. It was a close call, but I’m stoked to come out on top.”

_Tomac Takes Second_

Tomac, riding his Yamaha YZ450F, was disappointed with the second-place finish but acknowledged Sexton’s impressive ride.

“Chase rode a great race,” Tomac said. “I thought I had it in the bag, but he made a great pass. I’ll take second and move on to the next round.”

After the Atlanta round, Sexton takes the lead in the 450SX championship standings with 121 points, followed closely by Tomac with 116 points.
