According to sources, KTM’s debts have ballooned to over €500 million, prompting the company to take immediate action. As part of its restructuring efforts, KTM will be withdrawing from MotoGP’s Moto3 and Moto2 classes, effective immediately.
“This was not an easy decision for us, but we must prioritize the financial stability of the company,” said Stefan Pierer, KTM’s CEO. “We will be focusing on our core business and reducing our involvement in various racing championships to ensure the long-term sustainability of KTM.”
In addition to its MotoGP withdrawal, KTM will also be cutting ties with several other agencies, including:

– _World Superbike Championship_: KTM will withdraw from the World Superbike Championship, effective immediately.
– _International Six Days Enduro_: KTM will no longer participate in the International Six Days Enduro.
KTM has also announced plans to reduce its workforce by over 500 employees, as part of its cost-cutting measures.
