FORT WORTH, TX – DECEMBER 5, 2024

Oregon Ducks’ quarterback Bo Nix has been named the winner of the prestigious Davey O’Brien Award, given annually to the nation’s top quarterback.

Nix, a senior from Pinson, Alabama, had a remarkable season, throwing for 4,500 yards, 35 touchdowns, and only 5 interceptions, while also rushing for 700 yards and 10 touchdowns.

“We are thrilled to see Bo recognized for his outstanding play this season,” said Ducks Head Coach, Dan Lanning. “He’s a true leader on and off the field, and this award is a testament to his hard work and dedication.”

Nix becomes the first Oregon Ducks quarterback to win the Davey O’Brien Award since Marcus Mariota in 2014.
