BREAKING NEWS: Chase Elliott Trades Racing Helmet for…
NASCAR champion Chase Elliott stunned the racing world today, announcing his immediate retirement from professional racing to pursue a career in music.
“I’m grateful for the incredible opportunities NASCAR has provided, but my heart beats to a different rhythm,” Elliott said in a statement. “I’m excited to trade my steering wheel for a guitar and share my music with the world.”
Elliott’s surprising decision comes after a successful racing career, including 28 NASCAR Cup Series wins and the 2020 championship.
“Chase’s dedication and talent will be deeply missed on the track,” said Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports. “But we’re excited to support his new musical journey.”
