KTM and Red Bull announced a groundbreaking partnership to create the world’s first hybrid supermoto bike, combining a high-performance internal combustion engine with advanced electric technology.
“This bike will redefine the supermoto category,” said Stefan Pierer, KTM CEO. “Red Bull’s expertise in innovation and racing will help us push the limits.”
Key Features:
– 800cc V-twin engine producing 130 HP
– Electric motor adding 20 HP and 15 Nm torque
– Advanced regenerative braking
– Lightweight carbon fiber frame
– Exclusive Red Bull-designed livery
“We’re thrilled to bring our racing expertise to this project,” said Dietrich Mateschitz, Red Bull CEO. “This bike will be a game-changer.”
Prototype Testing:
– KTM’s factory riders, Jeffrey Herlings and Tony Cairoli, will test the bike.
– Initial testing shows impressive acceleration and handling.
Production Plans:
– Limited edition release in 2026
