JUST IN: Kevin Costner to Direct and Star in…

LOS ANGELES, CA – November 20, 2024

Acclaimed actor and director Kevin Costner has announced his next project: a sweeping Western epic titled “Red River Reckoning.”

Costner will direct and star alongside Emily Blunt, Chris Evans, and Michael B. Jordan.

“Red River Reckoning” follows a former outlaw seeking redemption in 1880s Texas.

Production begins in March 2025, with filming locations in New Mexico and Montana.

“I’m excited to return to the Western genre,” Costner said. “This story explores themes of forgiveness and justice.”

This marks Costner’s first directing credit since “Open Range” (2003).

“Kevin’s vision and expertise will bring this powerful story to life,” said producer Graham King.

“Red River Reckoning” is set for a Fall 2026 release.
