BREAKING NEWS:ALEX BOWMAN SECURES DRAMATIC WIN AT…
Daytona Beach, FL – February 19, 2025
Alex Bowman pulled off a stunning victory at the 67th annual Daytona 500, edging out Kyle Busch by 0.02 seconds in a thrilling finish.
“This is unbelievable!” Bowman exclaimed in Victory Lane. “My team worked tirelessly to get us here. I’m so proud of everyone at Hendrick Motorsports.”
Bowman’s No. 48 Ally Financial Chevrolet led 32 laps, but it was his bold move on the final lap that secured the win.
“I saw an opening and took it,” Bowman said. “Kyle (Busch) pushed me to the limit, but my car was incredible all day.”
The win marks Bowman’s eighth Cup Series victory and his first at Daytona International Speedway.
“Alex has become one of the top drivers in the sport,” said Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports. “We’re thrilled to see him succeed.”
Bowman’s victory propels him to second in the Cup Series standings.
