Alex Bowman secured his eighth career pole position, topping qualifying for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
“Bowman’s lap of 194.959 mph edged out Kyle Larson by 0.012 seconds.”
“This No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports team has been working tirelessly,” Bowman said. “We’re focused on converting this pole into a win.”
Bowman’s Texas pole marks his second of the 2025 season.
“Starting up front is crucial here,” said crew chief Greg Ives. “We’re optimistic about our chances.”
Sunday’s 500-mile event will be Bowman’s 200th Cup Series start.
