The Boston Red Sox have announced that former MLB manager and Red Sox legend, Jason Varitek, will take the reins as the team’s new manager for the 2025 season.
Varitek, a two-time World Series champion and four-time Gold Glove winner, played for the Red Sox from 1997 to 2011. He has been serving as a special assistant to the general manager since his retirement.
