The Toronto Blue Jays have made a major splash in the offseason, acquiring superstar outfielder, Mike Trout, from the Los Angeles Angels in a blockbuster trade.

The Blue Jays parted ways with top prospects, SS Jordan Groshans, RHP Alek Manoah, and OF Gabriel Moreno, to secure Trout’s services for the next 5 years.

“We’re thrilled to add Mike to our lineup,” said Blue Jays GM, Ross Atkins. “He’s a game-changer and will help us compete for a World Series title.”

Trout, 33, is a 10-time All-Star and 3-time American League MVP. He’s hit .305 with 442 HRs and 1,235 RBIs in his illustrious career.
