The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to a record-breaking 10-year, $350 million contract extension with All-Star shortstop, Bo Bichette.
“This deal solidifies our infield for years to come,” said Blue Jays GM, Ross Atkins. “Bo is a cornerstone player and leader.”
Bichette, 27, has been exceptional since his 2019 debut, hitting .297 with 120 home runs and 400 RBIs.
“I’m thrilled to commit to this amazing organization and city,” Bichette said. “We’re building something special.”
The deal includes:
– $35 million annual salary
– $20 million signing bonus
– No-trade clause
– Incentives for postseason performance
